und unterstützt die medizinische Behandlung. Diese Erkenntnis führte in Israel zum Einsatz von „Medizin-Clowns“. Einer dieser Clowns heißt Sarhan Mahamid, ein arabischer Israeli, der Kinder im Schneider Kinder Hospital in Petah Tikva betreut. Da er Arabisch und Hebräisch spricht, knüpft er zwischen jüdischen und arabischen Kindern auf humorvolle Weise engere Beziehungen.

Laughing is healthy and facilitates medical tretament. Medicine-clowns therefore offer their service at Schneider Children's Hospital in Petach Tikwah. Sarhan Mahamid, an Arab Israeli, is one of the Clowns who brings laughter to children. As he speaks Arabic as well as Hebrew, he finds it easy to communicate humorously with both, Jewish and Arab children.
